Inheriting Menu Objects

Inheriting menus is similar to inheriting windows, but the following restrictions apply. You can't:

	Change the order of menu items.
	Delete menu items.
	Insert menu items between other items.

However, PowerBuilder allows you to change the order of menu items by selecting 'Shift Over/Down' option in the inherited menu object.

When you set 'Shift Over/Down' option for a menu item, that item moves all the way down. If you do it for a menu item on the menu bar, it shifts all the way right on the menu bar.
